| This course aims to introduce the policy cycle to government officers. The lessons in this course focus on the first two steps in the policy cycle which are problem identification and policy formulation. Throughout the course, participants
will be exposed to research and its relation to policy formulation, list of economic tools that can be implemented to address policy issue, application of cost benefit analysis, writing policy paper, and strategies and challenges in policy
formulation. This course also includes a brief overview of Regulatory Impact Analysis (RIA) in policy formulation.
